Day 3
Today we will spend the whole day in the mountains. In the morning, along the tourist trail, leaving our belongings in the shelter, we will make a radial hike to Mitkiny rocks or Sheep foreheads (the choice will depend on the weather conditions)
Mitkiny Skaly is a geomorphological natural monument, the modern name of the part of the Bolshoi Taganai ridge between the Dvukhlava Sopka and the Otlikny ridge. Mitka Rocks include the Three Sisters Hill, the Slyudyanaya Hill and a number of unnamed outliers near the Two-headed Hill. Old-timers call this area Vshivye Gorki because of the small height of the rocky outcrops, the highest place is the Three Sisters Hill (1027 m), but despite this, a picturesque panorama of the Middle Taganai ridge, Otkliknoy Ridge and the northern peak of the Two-Headed Hill opens from the top of the Mitkin Rocks - Lamb Foreheads. Mitka Rocks is a favorite meeting place for sunrises and sunsets on Taganay.
Sheep Lby is the second hill or northern summit of the Dvuklava. Height 1041 m. It is an arcuate ridge elongated in the southeast direction. On the northern side, it is covered entirely with rocky talus of kurums, which tourists call "frizzy". The hill got its name for the characteristic forms of weathering of the rocks, the top consists of numerous terraces, rocky walls and crevices, the ascent to the Ram's foreheads is difficult because of the flow ability of the stone underfoot. After inspection, we return to the Rattle Key, have lunch and the second radial exit to Echo ridge (1155 m). The mountain got its name for its ridge-like shape and loud echo - multiple echoes due to the reflection of sound from an almost vertical rocky wall. From afar, depending on the angle of view, the mountain resembles either a prehistoric lizard, then a sea wave frozen on takeoff, or an elongated scallop. We rise to the top, admire the panorama that opens.

DAY 4
Today, after breakfast, we gather and make the transition to the "Taganay" shelter (13 km). On the way, we will once again enjoy the beauty of the Otklikny ridge. The trail from the Otklikny ridge to the next peak of the Big Taganai ridge - "Kruglitsa" - passes through the so-called "Valley of Fairy Tales". This is a uniquely beautiful area of a low-growing coniferous forest with glades of berries (lingonberry, blueberry, and blueberry), mountain herbs and juniper.
We will have lunch, admiring the beauty. After lunch, we will conquer Mount Kruglitsa (1178 m) - the highest point of the entire Taganai mountain range, which got its name for its characteristic rounded shape. The northern part of Kruglitsa peak is very interesting, which is an ideal flat area. Round face, like a magnet, attracts esotericists, occultists, psychics. Various sacred signs are painted on the stones here and there. There are also many small terraces made of stones. They say that wishes made on Kruglitsa will certainly come true. The mountain is built according to the principle of the Golden Section, Roerich visited this mountain and he considered Kruglitsa to be Belukha's sister. Observing the top of Kruglitsa on a clear sunny day, sometimes you can notice the curious effect of the mountain swaying, as if it was about to break away from its foot. This phenomenon is explained by the streamlined shape of the summit and the close position of the pressurized groundwater (the foot of Kruglitsa is a swamp). The sun, heating the stones, carries away moisture from the cracks with its warmth, the air flows clearly, creating an illusion. The mountain got its name for its characteristic rounded shape. The top of Kruglitsa is also called the Bashkir hat for its resemblance to the Turkic headdress, and contemporaries call it the Maiden's Breast, in common parlance Titka)
We go down to the Taganai shelter along the Hare path.
At the shelter we will have a rest, campfire gatherings, hiking bikes, delicious dinner and pleasant communication!
